A Glen Dawn

She will reach again
From stream to Glen
Forlorn, alone
Seeming, but not in stone

He follows, a hound
Moving without sound
Finds her cold
Comforts, strong and bold

They sit, entwined, one
A warmth conjoined, two
A partnership, three
More resolved, to the fore

Resting, his lover in view
They were two that knew
He would lay, alert
Carrying her hurt

A dawn promised
Sunrise again
Two birds on the wing
The Universe can sing
